Camera Combat Team

A huge thank you to Jon Bevan on his talk about war photography, an amazing insight on his photography and experiences within the Army.

He’d brought some of his uniform in to demonstrate the weight of everything he has to carry, baring in mind, there’s still extra protection he didn’t bring, like armour plates, boots, magazines, rifle etc etc..  So I volunteered to wear it!  With all the extra weight, and having to crouch, lay down as well as taking photos was so cumbersome!  Hat’s off to Jon for doing it in the middle of the desert at 50 degrees too!  Me?  I’ll stick to wedding photography!
