This week: RAW

For those of you who were not in club last Wednesday, here is a brief email to explain what we intend doing this week.

Members bring along an image on a memory stick that they have entered in a print competition. Ideally the image should be in Raw format as both the original image and processed one, if any post processing has been attempted. If you can remember how the judge suggested how the image could be improved this will also help. Then by using Lightroom and Photoshop your image will be altered in line with the comments from the judge but also from suggestions by those of us present on the night.

We might not be able to get through everybody’s images, but hopefully the evening will enhance our knowledge of the capabilities of these two post processing packages in enhancing images taken in camera.
