Trophy Winners So Far..
Almost half-way through 2017, and we already have some trophy winner, but some, I actually mean two. Peter Francis and Joyce Mollet, with Joyce winning three of them, nothing surprising really, not with the quality she come out with!

Open Print 2, Alun wins with his Contemplation image.
Congratulations once again to Alun for winning last night’s Open Print Competition as well as to those of you who managed to get into the top six. The standard of entry was very high and I thought Leigh Woolford was excellent, as usual.
Here is Alun’s winning image, view his gallery here.

First Open Print of the Year!
and to finish that email:
We’re back!
We are back!
This week we are going to be judging our DPI Competition ‘Dots Dashes and Diagonals’. Not the easiest of themes but I’m sure there will be some creative interpretations all the same. Continue reading “We’re back!”
We are nearly back!
Some of the club members will have been off visiting foreign parts and we look forward to seeing those images over the next few months. Some truely stunning images from India, Africa, Iceland and Cuba to name a few of the holiday destinations which have inspired competition winners in the past.
Many members have also ventured out together to more local areas on Wednesday evenings. I’m sure some images from those evenings will make it into competitions too.
Tonight we will be preparing for the first event of the autumn calendar next week when we judge the images members take tonight. We even have good skies and hopefully no rain and a bit of late sunshine. Wish us luck framing those shots!
